       Woah... oh...

Verse 1:
           A9
I was alone not long ago
   A9/G# A9/F#
Without a love to call my own
   A9/E DM9
   I was afraid and thought
      A9/C# Bm7 E7sus
   It wasn't meant for me
                 A9
   I didn't need anybody else
   A9/G# A9/F#
That was what I would tell myself
   A9/E DM9 A9/C# Bm7 pause
And I believed that that was how it would be

               C#7sus C#7(/F)
I used to think that I was fine
            A9/F#
Oh, that I was doing ok
              Bm7
   I didn't know that I was blind
               E7sus E7
I just went on along my way
              C#7sus C#7(/F)
   I didn't know what I was missing
                    A9/F#
'Til I felt you tender lips
                      Bm7
   Kissing my fears away
            E7sus pause
I'm so glad you're here today

Chorus:
      A9 A9/G#
I never had somebody I could lean on
      A9/F# C#m7
I never had a shoulder I could cry on
   A7 DM7 A9/C#
   Till I found you, babe
                CM7/6 E7sus
   Till I found you
          A9 A9/G#
And I never had somebody I would think about
      A9/F# C#m7
I never had someone I couldn't do without
   A7 DM7 A9/C#
   Till I found you, babe
                CM7/6 E7sus
   Till I found you

Verse 2:
               A9 A9/G#
I had been badly hurt before
                A9/F#
Ever since then, I would ignore
   A9/E DM9
   Any chance for love
       A9/C# Bm7 E7sus
I thought it was a lie
                   A9
I learned to rely upon myself
   A9/G# A9/F#
And I thought that I was doin' well
   A9/E DM9
   Until you came with something
   A9/C# Bm7
   I just can't deny

               C#7sus C#7(/F)
I used to think that I was fine
            A9/F#
Oh, that I was doing alright
              Bm7
I would go on and do my thing
         E7sus E7
   Everyday and every night
              C#7sus C#7(/F)
   I didn't know what I was missin'
                     A9/F#
'Til I felt your tender love
                    Bm7
   Fillin' me up inside
      E7sus
I love you with all my might

(Repeat Chorus)

*****Illustrated CHORDS (EADGBe)*****
x = dead (muted) string      0 = open string

A9: x02200 E7sus: 020230 or 022230
A9/G#: 4x2200 DM9: xx0220
A9/F#: 2x2200 FM7b5: 133200
A7: x02020 G6: 3x0430
DM7: xx0222 or x57675 C#7sus: x46474
A9/C#: x4x455 C#7: x46464
CM7/6: x3x455

Notes:
>> I believe the A9 at the coda is done as x07600.
>> A9/G# can be another optional chord.
>> Middle string mutes can be done by the finger pressing the bass string (that's
how I do it).
>> A9/C# is a unique but cool sounding chord here. The regular C#m7 can be substituted for
it if you find it hard to do! CM7 bar chord (x35453) can be substituted for the also
unique CM7/6.
>> And if you manage to use A9/C# and CM7/6, you'll find that they are just easy shifts
since they differ in only 1 string with just 1 fret. You won't need to rearrange the rest
of your fingers. =)
