I left myself for dead

Am
I left my soul exposed

And through their fingers fall

The meaning of it all

Down to the floor it goes

[short chorus]

So is there anybody here
Dm G
who can tell me where I am (oooh)

A captive in a passive tomb

Stoking fires from dying embers

I try To move a limb
Am
But there's a disconnect within
B
A devil in the alchemy
G
A phantom staring back at me,

It's you

I try to move a limb but there's a disconnect within

Gm6*
From troubles I have long repressed...
C
...and then, there's you

[solo]

Am B7 x a lot

[After Solo]
Am F
Am/F E

notes:
during the first verse, sometimes B7/C sounds better than B7. I think Casey’s moving around with
the bass notes between B and C on the piano. Can’t quite make it out.

The (Dm) just means it’s the same chord carried over from the previous measure

For verse 2, the recording keeps playing that guitar riff. If you’re doing it acoustic, I gave chords
(its pretty much the same as the first verse or the solo)

Sorry, I'm not tabbing out the solo :/ mostly because I can't

for the after solo / outro, I just found the chords for where the strings stop moving and hold a chord.
